Immigration Matters

Application of Study Permit Letter (Surat Izin Belajar)

An international student proposes a study permit letter request to the International Office via e-mail at international.affairs@uki.ac.id or via WhatsApp at (+62 812-1090-3930).

An International student has to prepare scanned original documents such as:

  1. Information related to study programs and personal data
  2. Letter of Acceptance (LOA)
  3. Diploma or Academic Transcript
  4. Passport
  5. Statement Letter (prepared by Bureau of Public Relations and Marketing of UKI)

-Willing to remain unemployed while studying in Indonesia

-Do not participate in political activities

-Obey with laws and regulations in Indonesia

  1. Statement Letter prepared by parents or the representative of family
  2. Financial Statement
  3. Health Certificate (Surat Keterangan Sehat) prepared
  4. Passport-size color photo

Please note that every document shown above must be submitted in (.jpg) format with a maximum size of 300 KB.

Payment Matter

The process is free of charge. 

Approval and Issuing of Surat Izin Belajar (Study Permit)

On this step, the international student will be approved to obtain the Study Permit. The International will receive the notification from Imigration office and the student will proceed the document.

 

 

Application of New Student Visa (Index C316)

An international student proposes a visa request letter to the International Office via e-mail at international.affairs@uki.ac.id or via WhatsApp at (+62 812-1090-3930).

 An International student has to prepare scanned original documents such as:

  • Surat Izin Belajar Mahasiswa Asing dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (Study Permit issued by Ministry of Education and Culture Directorate General of Higher Education)
  • The Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Bureau of Public Relations and Marketing of UKI (BHP UKI)
  • Passport
  • Domicile Statement (Keterangan Domisili) while staying in Indonesia
  • Financial statement

Please note that every document shown above must be submitted in (.jpg) format with a maximum size of 300 KB.

Payment Matter

After all the documents on the second step are registered through Imigration website, International Office will receive a notification about the payment for visa application from the Directorate General of Immigration. The payment must be paid in full by the international student. After the payment is made, the international student must send proof of payment along with the billing number to the International Office, either via email or WhatsApp.

Approval and Issuing of New Visa

On this step, the international student will be approved to obtain the Limited Stay Visa. The International will receive  the notification from Imigration office and the student will proceed the visa document.

Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) Extension

On this step, the international student proposes an ITAS to the immigration office based on the domicile of international student along with some documents such as:

  • Passport
  • Telex Visa
  • Personal Information or Biodata

The ITAS will be processed in about 7 to 14 workdays.
